lol yes, it's a little hard to talk with binky/dummy in mouth!! Good to ease him off from it anyway, it's not good for his teeth alignment! A lot of times, we don't realize how much the little ones are learning or processing! then one day they just put it all together and come out with their newest accomplishment much to our amazement! Haaaa little do we know, they've been trying to figure it out for months!!!

Thanks all, Judy he has definatly got the physical skill's down pat, he dosent keep still! lol
There has actually been a major improvement in his speech lately, it's like it's finally strating to click with him. In fact he's now following me around the house jabbering to me constanly, he's still not very clear, but I have taken his dummy off him in the daytime and thats helping a lot!

Btw, I tried to reply in he actual post I made but I'm a bit brain dead today and couldent figure out how to...

I have a 2 year and 1 month old, called Cody and he is the center of world. But I worry that he's not talking enough for his age, my health visitor says his development is perfectly normal. He has got a lot of words but he's not stringing sentences together yet, so I'm looking to all as more experienced parent than me for answer, does this sound normal to you all for a 2 year old?

floboe, yes it's normal! he is learning soooo many things at once right now that sometimes it takes a little longer to put the words into a sentence. Also boys tend to be a bit slower with their verbal skills. They are quicker to learn the physical skills.

My daughter didn't start talking until she went to preschool at 2 1/2. She had to use her words there, within weeks of starting she just became miss jaber-jaw and hasn't ever stopped!

Lol, honestly you can't compare kids. Some learn certain things quicker than others, but as long as he is learning anything you have nothing to worry about! Think about what adults are like too...some talk more than others, but sometimes the quiet ones have a lot more going on in their heads than anyone realizes.
